a. What did the judges note as strengths as they were critiquing it?

good color and placing
Good focus
Action in the photos
b. What do you see as strengths? Do you see any weaknesses?
I liked the framing in a few of the photos but also some of them I think would have been better if they had been cropped a little smaller.

a. Briefly describe the process the judges went through in deciding the winner.
They shared ideas and thoughts amongst themselves and made decisions everyone agreed on.

1. Describe one photo that you agree with the judges on. Explain why you and the judges do or do not like it.
I agree with the judges on the photo with the big wave and the surfer falling from his surfboard at the top.

I think that if the photographer had wait a second before taking the shot and cropped a little closer the photo would have been better.
2. Describe one photo that you do NOT agree with the judges on. Explain why you think the judges are wrong.

On the photo with the bobsled I agree with the second judge but not with the first. The first says that there is not much going on but like the next judge says there is motion and good framing and I really like the attention the bland background gives the bright red sled.
