School Uniforms

The school board has decided to create a district wide policy of enforcing school uniforms. Who would you need to interview to find out more information about this topic? What are some good questions to ask? (This is theoretical)

1. List three different sources you could interview for this topic.

The leader of the school board or some members of the school board, A student in the district, A teacher in the district.
2. Create 20 questions you could ask each source and post them on your blog. It will be the same 20 questions for each, so you only have to think of 20 total questions.

  1. What do you think of the new policy?
  2. When did or does this policy come into play?
  3. How well do you think this policy will go over with the students?
  4. What are the uniforms?
  5. Will uniforms be provided?
  6. How strict do you think this new policy is?
  7. How much do you think these uniforms will effect your life?
  8. How strictly will you enforce this new policy?
  9. What are the punishments for not complying to this policy?
  10. Would uniforms be different for male and female students?
  11. Will uniform's be the same year round?
  12. How much do these uniforms cost?
  13. Will uniform's be the same for every school?
  14. If not what might be some differences?
  15. Who will decide what these uniforms look like?
  16. Will students be allowed to have a say in the uniforms?
  17. Do you think the uniform should include a skirt?
  18. What effect do you think this might have on the student body?
  19. Have the uniforms already been decided on?
  20. Will students be required to wear these uniforms to things such as football or basketball games?
